Frequently ask questions
We are uniquely different; are you? Resorts, Hotels, Villas and Guest Houses can't offer you the variety and flexibility your own personal yacht charter can. We will show you beaches and vistas that you can not see from the shore, sometimes can't even get to! Even to places the resort staffs don't even know about.

Q. What does a typical private yacht charter entail?
Before you arrive, the yacht is stocked with foods of your preference. The menu is customized to your preferences. We talk to you about what you want to eat and what you want to do, and once aboard, we take you where you want to go. Each private yacht charter is totally customized to you, and can change in mid-stream if you want! Try asking the captain of a mega-cruise ship to visit that pretty little island over there that isn't on their itinerary! With your own private charter yacht, the captain's next words are likely to be, "Sure, let's go!" Sail, snorkel, beach walk, bar hop, walk barefoot along the beaches, shop, have cocktails on the deck while a beautiful sun sets into the sea. Enjoy some of the finest food in the islands. A private charter yacht cruise means having your own personal guide to help you chart a course to your best vacation ever!
Your private yacht charter becomes your own private resort that will take you to the most breathtaking places in the islands, pampering you all the way. Rates are all-inclusive, per person, per week. Food, liquor, fuel, dockage are extra. Ask us about our all inclusive packages.

Q. What Should I Bring?
First, only bring soft sided luggage since space is limited and storage is easier. Also hard luggage can damage woodwork and paint.
For clothing bring casual wear, mostly shorts and T-shirts, and swimsuits. A few of the more formal restaurants require long pants and collared shirts and occasionally a jacket, but "smart casual" is the norm.
Your own mask and snorkel if prefer, The Jody Lee carries an assortment of sizes on board.
Sunscreen; please don't use oily lotions as it stains the yachts upholstery.

Q. Are Animals Permitted on Board?
Because of limited space and for sanitary reasons we do no permit animals on board.

Q. Are Children Permitted on Board?
Passengers traveling with children take full responsibility for their behavior and safety while on board. The crew will be very busy and is unable to provide babysitting services. Children under the age of fifteen are not permitted.

Q. How much should I tip the Captain & Crew?
If you come to think of the crew as friends (and you probably will), tipping may seem awkward at the charter’s end. But tips may constitute a major part of their working capital, and if you’ve enjoyed their efforts, they’ll appreciate your letting them know in this way.  Most guests are comfortable with a tip of 10 to 20 percent of the charter fee, even more if the service was outstanding but the decision, of course is up to you.  Putting your gratuity in an envelope with a note of thanks is a nice way to avoid any awkwardness.

Q. Is smoking permitted aboard The Jody Lee
The Jody Lee is a smoke FREE vessel. Smoking is not permitted anywhere
on the yacht.
